A home away
from home — for International students in Indiana.
Furnished homes. Flexible leases. Real people on the ground in both India and the US — so the first chapter of your study-abroad journey starts with a soft landing, not a search.
Built for the actual journey,
not just the lease.
We started Global Nest because generic listings and impersonal dorms don't account for what it actually takes to move continents. Here's what we take off your plate.
No US credit, no co-signer, no problem.
We're built for international students. No SSN, no credit checks, no surprise denials — just a clear path to a signed lease before you fly.
Furnished & move-in ready
Beds, kitchen essentials, Wi-Fi, utilities — already handled. Arrive with one suitcase, start living, not shopping.

Starting in Indianapolis.
Growing with you.
Indiana is one of the fastest-growing destinations for Indian international students — and one of the least served when it comes to housing that actually understands them. Our first homes are right in Indianapolis, with more campuses on the way.
More campuses coming soon — including Bloomington, West Lafayette, and beyond.
Three steps from
"I got in" to "I'm home."
No application fees, no commitment to reach out. We start with a real conversation — your school, your dates, your needs.

The things families &
counselors usually ask.
Pick your view — we've grouped answers by who's asking. Don't see what you need? Reach out and we'll walk you through it.
Yes. Before you commit, we'll do a live walkthrough over WhatsApp video so you can see your room, the kitchen, the common space, and the neighborhood. You'll also get photos and floor plans up front — no guessing.
Depends on the home and your budget. We offer both private and shared rooms — privates cost more but give you your own space. Shared rooms are the most affordable and often the most fun if you click with your roommate. We'll show you what's available before you decide.
Pricing varies by city, room type, and lease length, and everything is bundled — furniture, Wi-Fi, water, and electricity are included. We'll quote you exact numbers once we know your campus and dates. No hidden fees.
It happens — we get it. Our move-in dates are flexible within a window, and our airport pickup will adjust to your updated arrival. If your visa is delayed past the semester start, talk to us early and we'll work with you on holds, partial billing, or a later move-in.
No — we house undergrads, grad students, MBA students, and post-docs. The common thread is that you're an Indian international student at one of our partner universities and you want a soft landing instead of a Craigslist roulette.
Couples and dependents can be accommodated in some homes — usually a private unit rather than a shared room. Let us know in your first message so we can match you to the right setup.
Each home is picked for proximity to campus, transit, and groceries. We'll walk you through bus routes, biking distance, and ride-share patterns for your specific university. Where parking is available on-site, we'll tell you up front.
Yes — please do. Most students reach out before final decisions are made. Knowing housing is sorted across multiple campuses can actually help you decide where to commit. We'll happily share options for each school you're considering.
Yes. Every Global Nest home is vetted for proximity to campus, lighting, and access to safe transit. Our flagship Indianapolis home is in a residential area with a US coordinator on call, and all homes have secure entry, smoke detectors, and well-maintained common spaces.
We're also happy to share the exact address and walk through neighborhood details over WhatsApp or a video call before your child commits.
Other Indian international students at the same or nearby universities. Homes are grouped by gender, and we share roommate profiles in advance so families know who's in the home before signing.
We've intentionally built around shared culture and life stage — the goal is housemates who feel more like friends than strangers.
Yes. We accept international wire transfers and work with families operating under the RBI's Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS). Our India team in Pune can walk you through the exact process with your bank.
Once your child is on a US visa, we can also help set up domestic US payment options.
Everything you'd want bundled: a furnished room, Wi-Fi, water, electricity, and a fully equipped shared kitchen. No surprise utility bills, no scrambling for furniture, no setup fees.
Move-in fees and security deposits are clearly listed before signing — no hidden charges.
Absolutely — kitchens are equipped for Indian cooking. Pressure cookers, gas/induction stoves, masala storage, and basic utensils are part of the standard setup. We also share local Indian grocery store recommendations during onboarding.
Our US coordinator is on call for residents, with a 24/7 emergency line for urgent issues. Our India team is your point of contact while you're back home — so you always have someone to talk to in your timezone.
For medical or visa emergencies, we maintain a network of contacts (doctors, attorneys, ISO offices) we can connect students with.
Dorms are designed around a one-size-fits-all American student experience. Global Nest is designed around the specific needs of Indian students moving abroad — cultural fit, kitchen access, no credit checks, longer or more flexible lease terms, and a community where your child isn't the only one explaining what Diwali is.
You also get more privacy, more space, and a real point of contact — not a residence assistant who turns over every semester.
We know life happens — visa delays, family emergencies, internships in other cities. Our leases are built with more flexibility than a typical landlord, and we'll work with you on early exit, room transfer, or short-term holds. Specifics are discussed before signing so there are no surprises.
Yes. We work with study-abroad counselors and agencies on transparent referral terms — commission structures are shared up front and paid on confirmed move-ins. Reach out and we'll send the partner one-pager.
Simplest path: introduce them by email or WhatsApp with their university, intake term, and a contact number. We follow up directly within a day. We also have a partner intake form for agencies sending multiple students.
Yes. We hold blocks of rooms for established counselor partners during peak intake windows. Terms (hold period, refundable deposit, conversion expectations) are set in writing so there's no ambiguity.
Once a student confirms, we issue a verified housing confirmation letter on Global Nest letterhead that can be submitted alongside I-20 and DS-160 documents. We can also support with proof-of-address letters for banking and SSN appointments after arrival.
Within 24 hours for first contact, usually the same day during business hours in either India or US time. Confirmed booking turnaround (documents, deposit, lease) is typically 3–5 business days once a student has decided.
Yes — print-ready trifold brochures, a one-pager you can email to students and parents, and a short slide deck for orientation sessions. Co-branded versions are available for partner agencies.
Yes — we run live walkthroughs over WhatsApp or Zoom, and have a virtual tour available on request. Counselors are welcome to sit in on the call with families so everyone sees the same thing.

Every family's situation is different, and we'd rather have a real conversation than send you through a portal. Pick whichever way is easiest — we typically reply within a day, often the same day.
